AGM Statement

Uranium Resources plc, the AIM listed uranium exploration and development company, held its AGM today and all resolutions were duly passed.
At the meeting, Director Ross Warner made the following statement:
'The last year has seen many developments for Uranium Resources as we continued to implement our strategy of becoming a significant uranium company focussed in Tanzania. We have made considerable progress in advancing our portfolio with the latest acquisition of licences increasing our land area to circa 14,000sq km, primarily in the highly prospective Karoo Basin. With an active development programme and a Joint Venture and development partner in the form of Western Metals, we feel that we are ideally placed to aggressively progress our exploration activities over 2007.
'Following the end of the wet season and construction of 12 kilometres of drill access tracks, we have re started our exploration programme with a reverse circulation drilling programme on our Mytona project in southern Tanzania. Initially, 4,000 metres of drilling is scheduled for June on several areas of uranium anomalies on the Mtonya licence areas, including the Henri prospect, which has yielded uranium grades of up to 2.7% U308 from channel samples in surface trenches. With regards to results, the first assay's from previous drilling are due out early August this year.
'Additionally as our company expands its operations we have decided to dual list on the ASX. We feel this will increase our exposure in the Australian investment community and in turn enhance shareholder value'.
