Uranium Resources plc (the "Company") announces that on 31 January 2008 it was notified that as at 30 January 2008, Barclays plc, through its subsidiary Barclays Stockbrokers Ltd, has an interest in 18,327,895 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 6.30% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
