Correction to update announcement re: Tanzanian uranium project areas

Uranium Resources plc (AIM: URA) refers to its update announcement on 9 July 2008 (the “Update Announcement”) in relation to its Tanzanian uranium project areas. The Company wishes to make a correction to its cash position which was reported in error in the Update Announcement.
URA advises that its cash balance is in excess of £1.8 million. The Company's cash balance is sufficient to satisfy the Company's currently budgeted exploration expenditure for 2008 of approximately £650,000 and the Company's working capital requirements.
